Romail Dontail Allen

Romail Dontail Allen of Corvallis, OR, received his angelic wings July 19, 2026, at the age of 51 years young. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and son. He was born in Gary, IN, to Robert Allen (deceased) and Valerie A. Lowery-Thomas. Raised in his birthplace where everyone was family, he received Christ at an early age and attended Erine Pyle Elementary. He loved to travel, moving from Gary, IN, to Phoenix, AZ, to San Diego, CA, and then to Davis, CA. Romail attended Davis Senior High School where he excelled in football, baseball, and wrestling! In Davis, he met his wife Christina Marie Saavedra. They were inseparable. This union produced four children whom he leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Adam (Brett) Allen and Curtis (Erin) Allen; and two daughters, Kayla Allen and Jasmine Allen. He also leaves his three grandchildren: Archer Allen, Evryn Allen, and Casen Allen. Additionally, he is survived by his four brothers, Nijah E. Tutt (Donetta), Robert Jermaine Sutton Allen, Robert (Lashawn) Allen, Christian Allen; and four sisters, Rochelle Allen, Angel (Chris) Allen, and Kiara Allen. His memory lives on among a host of family and friends. Romail began his career as a plumber, pipefitter, and welder at his family-owned business Mission Plumbing Co. with guidance from his father-in-law Rick Payne and Kathy (deceased) of Mission, CA. He worked hard to provide for his family there. Romail never met a stranger. Having a heart of gold, he weathered the ills of life knowing Christ would see him through. His smile and caring character became his trademark. He always gave a hand with no complaints and enjoyed being there for others, even when not knowing what lies ahead.
