Alice Marie Tice

Alice Marie Graham Tice, age 88, from Corvallis, OR, formerly of Hampden Twp, PA died Friday, November 18, 2022, in Corvallis, OR. She was born in Marshalltown, IA on November 16, 1934. She was the daughter of Kenneth R Graham and Jeanette Perisho Graham. She grew up in Iowa on a large farm where they raised sheep, soybeans and corn, Shetland ponies, and Arabian horses. She was active in 4-H and showed sheep and Arabian horses. She formerly worked for the US Government Defense Department in Kentucky and California. She enjoyed traveling and living in different places in her life, and was fortunate to live in Washington, Iowa, Oklahoma, Colorado, Germany, Kentucky, California, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Oregon. Alice and her husband Jim loved dogs and raised and showed their beloved Dobermans and Italian greyhounds. She was an avid quilter and a member of Cross Roads Quilters, LeTort Quilters, and Lemoyne Star Quilters. She made many beautiful quilts for her family and friends. Alice was a member of the church family of Christ United Methodist Church in Warner Robins, GA and Grace Methodist Church in Lemoyne, PA. She also was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James Gordon Tice, on October 6, 2003, her parents, brother Raymond Kenneth Graham, stepdaughter Connie Lee Krimm, and step-grandson Dale Babcock. Alice is survived by two daughters Sandy Lou Schuler from California and Carol Ann Schuler and her husband Bob Altman from Oregon; a son David Allen Schuler and his wife Ching from Georgia; a stepson James Gardener Tice and his wife Sally Lynn Johnson Tice from Pennsylvania; a grandson David Benjamin Schuler; a granddaughter Jennifer Ellen Schuler; step-grandson Joshua Gardner Tice; step-granddaughters Tammy Jo Bayly, Kimberly Nobles, Jessica Lo, and Crystal Lo; seven step-great grandchildren; two brothers Harold William Graham and Wendell Dean Graham; and two sisters Shirley Arlene Guthridge and Betty Eileen Squire. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Italian Greyhound Rescue Northwest, IGRF-NW, P. O. Box 30644, Seattle, WA 98113-0644. Arrangements will be handled by Malpezzi Funeral Home in Mechanicsburg, PA. and McHenry Funeral Home, Corvallis, OR. Alice will be buried with her husband at the National Cemetery at Indiantown Gap, Annville PA.
